Fixture changes - March 2012

Due to the postponed game earlier in the season, fixtures have been revised, as follows:

1 Mar 20:20 - Vasalina Mageesh

8 Mar 19:00 - EIE and 19:40 - Boca Seniors

15 Mar 20:20 - Vasalina Mageesh [Cup]

22 Mar 19:00 - Cup Finals Night

SFO Old Boys and Vasalina Mageesh swap divisions

Due to the obvious difference in strengths between Vasalina Mageesh and the other Premiership sides, the league has relegated them after two games and promoted SFO Old Boys in their place. Both teams will therefore start on zero points in their respective divisions and their previous results have been expunged.

Winter 2011/12 fixtures

Following the 5-3 win in the first game of the season against Boca Seniors, Welwyn Wanderers play The Aces on 10th November. The Championship also features Real Legit, EIE, The Big Dogs, SFO Old Boys and Stevenage Allstars. See www.welwynwanderers.org.uk for the full fixture list.

Double-header ends league season

The last two games of the season will be on 29th September - against Poken Ginger at 7.00 and Real Legit at 7.40.

Fixture change for 15th September

Welwyn Wanderers will now play Ajax Treesdown in a change to the originally published fixture, kick-off remains at 9pm. Ajax, who are currently top of the Championship by five points from Welwyn, will also play Real Legit at 8.20.

League Cup news

The cup competition is back this season, including a plate cup to be played for on Finals Night. There are three qualifying groups, two groups of five teams and one group of four teams.
